Body Detox Plan – How to Detox Your Body

Body detox is a perfect way to get a fresh start, to clear some old junk out of your body, get new energy and lose a few pounds. Want to give your body a nice fresh start? Body detox is the perfect way. For best effects, it takes a much needed 10-14 days of detox, but why not start with a weekend.

To detox means that you eat only cleansing fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of water, teas (like special detox teas) and juices, and completely avoid animal protein and even vegetable protein, coffee, soft drinks and alcohol. The idea is that your body will get a chance to get rid of harmful substances that we have in ourselves as a result of diet and surroundings.

The first days are quite stressful. Things are happening in your body. You may get a headache, a little pain, you may feel tired. But after five days, it is wonderful. You feel better and better. And it shows. You lose weight, and your skin, eyes and hair will look good.

Many people who have trouble sleeping, stomach-issues or allergies have fewer symptoms. The whole body comes into better balance. If you eat very organic, lots of fruits and vegetables and drink almost no coffee or alcohol, the effects of a detox course will not be as obvious as if you live on Coca-cola and pizza and drink several cups of coffee each day.

1. Select one of your detox weekend when you have nothing else booked. On a detox weekend, you should have time for yourself. It is better to wait until you find a weekend when it feels right than to start when you are stressed and have difficulty getting into it.

2. Sleep a lot during your detox weekend, take a warm bath or sauna, and scrub yourself. Buy lovely organic skin oils and massage the skin.

3. Spend much time on your food, let it be the focal point.

4. Begin on Thursday if possible. You will then get four days, and the extra days do a lot.
